A fluid is a substance that is liquid, gaseous, or other type of material that continuously deforms under an external force or shear stress. Because fluids have a zero shear modulus, they are unable to resist shear forces. It's not surprising that they deform under external pressure and stress, but this is not the case in everyday life. Understanding the nature of fluids is essential to understand why they deform, and how they are manipulated and applied.
The Fluid app lets you create web apps from your favorite sites and give them their own home on your Mac's desktop. It offers several customization options, such as the ability to choose the icon and name your web apps. This procedure takes seconds and a prompt window appears when the process is finished. To launch the new app, select the "Reveal in Finder" and "Launch Now" buttons. You will then see a new window in which you can enter a website URL, set a name for the web application, and click the "Launch Now" button to launch the app.
Fluid is free to download. There is a paid version of the app that adds additional features, including scripting support and the ability to pin apps to the status bar. Users can also choose from different themes for Fluid and customize the app's appearance with the help of its built-in menu bar. In the beta version, users can access many websites without the need to use a browser. The paid version offers more functionality and customization options. Just like the free version, Fluid is available for free download.
